Rheem 176529 -Ruud 62-22175-50 natural gas burner orifice for use with Rheem series RUUD gas furnaces. Includes required seals for complete installation. Measures 3 9/16 in diameter and 1 in length.

A burner orifice is a replaceable part that restricts the flow of natural gas to a burner. It can be made of either brass, stainless steel, or a synthetic material and is mounted in the pilot assembly. The orifice is intended to prevent the flame from going out by restricting the flow of natural gas. It is also used to control the gas/air ratio for proper ignition of the appliance.

This orifice is designed to fit RheemRuud gas furnaces and heaters. The orifice controls the flow of natural gas into the furnace.

When the high-pressure gas regulator (included) is attached to this orifice, it will control the flow of gas into the burner. By simply turning the dial to the desired flame output, you can always obtain a targeted flame height.
