This thermostat replaces all the old knob thremostats on Therm 40, Therm 60, Therm 80, Plus 40, Plus 40NG, Plus 60NG, Therm 90 and ThermPlus 80 (all the old knob control tanks that have the two prong cord plugs). This thermostat has a 3 prong cord plug and is not interchangeable with the previous style thermostat. The other numeral part of this part number is for another optional choice you can choose from for your Weil-McLain Main gas valve and it should be changed to match your existing tank temperature limit
