Baldwin's new 6756 050 Colonial Passage Lock features a backplate with an engraved quatrefoil pattern; the most popular pattern sold in Colonial America, and is finished in satin brass. For more than three centuries, Baldwin Hardware Company has remained true to its founding principles, evolving but remaining loyal to its original design ethic of simple elegance. Founded by box lock inventor Eli J. Baldwin in 1841, the company name has changed to Baldwin Hardware Company and then Baldwin Security Hardware before becoming one of the largest manufacturer of door locks and accessories in the world.

The Baldwin 6756 features a center-turning design and thick solid brass construction. This Colonial thumb turn lock boasts a satin finish for a classic look.

This backplate is made from durable brass and finished in Satin Brass. It features a Colonial design that includes an oval beveled glass knob on a solid brass shaft, and may be used with Baldwin's 3545 or 6561 knobs. The backplate measures 2 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" high and extends 3/4" from the door.

Designed in a classic Colonial style, Baldwin's famous insulated products are crafted from solid brass and furnished with a mirror finish. This Entrance Set includes one exterior thumb turn lock complete with backplate, and one interior combination thumb turn lock. Both locks are designed for 2-1/4" diameter deadbolts with a 1 3/8" backset.
