This part is sure to keep working, even in harsh weather conditions. The connector/transition assembly has a three-year limited warranty that guarantees long-lasting performance.

Connectors/Transition Assembly

The connector/transition assembly (also known as a quick connect coupling or a transition) is used on Ruud/Rheem high pressure outdoor water heaters to connect the water heater tank outlet to the water distribution system.

This Rheem connector/transition assembly will fit your unit if you have a model number of 176906 or 68-103061-01. This 6900 and 8150 series connector is designed for use with 68 series units.

The Rheem 176906 connector/transition connects the indoor section of a split-duct transition to the outdoor fancover.

Don't want to drill into your wall? Attach our attic transition assembly for fast simple installation with the same performance as a permanent installation. The Rheem 176856-WT Transition Assembly is made out of galvanized steel, that increases the life expectancy of this product. It is designed to work with 2 – 3/4" x 10' & 1 – 3/4" x 8' coil and tank convectors.
