Innovative mortise lock with a one-piece cylinder cover that provides approximately eight million possible key changes. A spacer, which is included with the lock, must be used for use on hollow doors. Mortise Lock Series 6800 Mortise Cylinders are interchangeable with Baldwin's Wedge Padlock Series 6800 cylinders, and can be used in door furniture with any of the available styles of 6800 family mortise locks.

This mortise lock features a 1.5 in throw, level-guard bumpers, packaged with two levers, one of which accepts a level-guard deadlatch (#SCO28).
