The 17596 is a 3/8" Snap Acting LP/Natural Gas Valve (LPNGV) for use with high-pressure natural gas (H2). Valve body inlet thread, ANSI B1.20.1; faced joint flange design acc. to ANSI B16.5 and joints acc. AGA MSS-SP-44, sec. I; ASME Code Case 5, Class 150 tubing size with an outside diameter of 0.95 inch (24mm) and an inside dia of 0.8735 inch (22mm).

The 17596 3/8" Snap-Acting Low-Pressure (LP)/Natural Gas Valve allows the use of natural gas and liquid propane when hardwired to valve control devices such as the 22592, 17590, or 10-34200 time delay relay. This valve is used in conjunction with the 1003 Range Hanger Kit.

The SNAP ACTING LP/NATURAL GAS VALVE is designed as a direct replacement for a Robertshaw 3904 LBV or Robertshaw 3901 LBV valve, and is used in point-of-use water heater application.

The Robertshaw SNAP-ACTING natural gas shut-off valve is for use with gas to gas heaters. It is not to be used as a secondary shut-off when using LP/natural gas burners. The valve has a female 1/2 inch FPT inlet and a male 1/2 inch MPT outlet. The body dimension is 1-1/8 inch O.D., the handle is 1-3/8 inch O.D., and the outside dia. of the handle is 10 mm
