AUTO CHANGEOVER SWITCH WITH CONDUIT

The Auto Changeover Switch with Conduit is a Special Purpose Device in which internal circuitry automatically activates and deactivates the device under predetermined set point conditions. The white-Rodgers 13921 series features SPDT low current relay contacts rated for 10 amps to 24 volts AC/DC. These devices are Power Limited Products (PLC Products) that have been designed to operate on systems controlled by sensor type controls and control panels, and may be available in a switch or preset configuration.

The White-Rodgers 13902 is an automatic changeover switch with conduit. This product can be installed in and existing combination hot and chilled water systems, or can be incorporated in new installations. The automatic energy transfer rates of the 13902 provides continuous circulation of hot water at 100 percent even if the continuous flow valve is shut off. The SPDT (single pole double throw) allows for easy identification of the circuit being controlled by its ability to act as a standard on/off switch or a changeover switch.

The Auto Changeover Switch is housed in a rugged, rigid operating panel that includes an integral mounting flange for ease in rack and panel or wall mounting. The multi-gang, push-button selector switch includes Zone/Zone plus Chilled Water capability.

The SPDT auto changeover switch provides for automatic operation of an outdoor, on-demand, manually controlled, two-element system. The White-Rodgers 13902 is designed to control remodeled hot water or chilled water distribution valves. This is a single pole dual throw (SPDT) three position switch that electrically opens and closes the valve coil circuit in response to temperature differential signals. These auto changeover switches allow one zone to be hot or chilled while the other zone is off until a differential in temperature is sensed.
