The Robertshaw 111173 RAM-4 120V NON PRE PURGE Intermittent Pilot Ignition Coil is designed with conventional and patented features. It is crafted using the finest alloys that are compatible for burning both natural and LPG gases. The non pre purge coil makes it easy to start your heater at any time without clearing any gas that is left in the line. It offers 120v and 25000 BTU output on Gas and LP/NG models. With its applications in portable, campers or mobile homes, this gas ignition coil comes with an exceptional performance record.

Built for the professional contractor, the ROBERTSHAW RAM-4 non-pilot ignition is ideal for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) professionals. With the ability to run on natural gas or liquid propane, this ignition can be used with a variety of different fuels and applications.

The RGH4520IG is a 2-speed, 1/2 horsepower, original equipment, direct spark ignition burner which comes with a pre-chamber. The gas valve is PRE Purged and the pilot is an intermittent type.

The new Robertshaw 111173 RMI4 intermittent pilot ignitor should be used with all direct spark systems. It will function as a non-purge system every time the burner fires and there is natural gas flow. When the gas valve is closed, typically 7 to 10 seconds before the next ignition, it will immediately shut off. Should the pilot flame extinguish, the patented internal glow plug design will automatically relight the pilot for instant ignition. The RMI4 has been designed with parallel inductance coils for perfect ignition operation with utility frequency current sources between 30 and 60 hertz.

The ROBERTSHAW RAM-4 is for installation of a vent-free, non-pilot, heater without a power switch for intermittent or continuous operation. It is also used to install a vent-free natural gas appliance with automatic shutdown capability in homes using a properly ducted forced air distribution system. The electric ignitor does not turn on the gas supply if the pilot is lit.

The RAM-4 is a three-wire 120V safe interlock switch for non-permanent installations. It will prevent accidental door removal and DPU operation caused by equipment failure or human error, while allowing test access and is ideal for machine guarding applications.

This Intermittent pilot relay is used to replace a defective one to maintain the pilot light on an air conditioner. It is compatible with Lennox, Payne , Trane, American Standard and Ruud brand AC systems.
