The 4048 110800 - Potentionmeter Switch Proportional Signal (110800) is needed for operation of a Steam-operated automatic transmission control.

The 48V switch with potentiometer offers the widest range of control and a classic smooth feeling that meets the most demanding of applications. The electrical connection is via a 4-pin Phoenix contact.

Our potentiometers are the ideal way to create a proportional control between two signals. They can be used in auto pilot, A.O.C. applications and any application where an adjustable signal amplification is wanted.  Features include: operating range - full scale output 1/10 of minimum input voltage to 10 volts maximum, variable resistance (R) from 0 to 10 megohms, long life carbon brushes and rollers ensure long life and reliability from the internal components, 1 potted enclosure with sealed connectors, screw terminals, brush covers and wires provided for ease of installation and use.
