The 7B series power supplies are specifically designed for contractors and distributors to supply 10-50VDC power via an automotive cigarette lighter receptacle. The 7B1R Resistor is used when installing a 7B switch into a vehicle "ON" position. This is one of the most common switches used in paintball guns and is sold as a replacement part for the Bob Long Intimidator.

The resistor is necessary for new 7B board versions. The firmware is backward compatible and resisters are not needed if your 7B does not have the rotary selector dial.

The 7B1R resistor is designed for use with the 7B series on/off switches. It features a high-impact nylon housing and easy push button adjustment. With a 5,000 amp rating, this resistor will provide years of reliable performance.

The second generation 7B1R has better heat sinking capabilities and an improved mounting base for the switch making it more suitable for quick-draw applications. 7B1R installs in a MINI 7B switch to make it fail safe only . The addition of a resistor will tailor the trigger pull to be less than factory and, more importantly, to make it bias towards FAILURE TO FIRE. Optimum loading (for rapid firing) on the trigger is quickly achieved with a super light spring.
