The lock's built-in authentication helps further protect against unauthorized access through identification of invalid access cards or bad chip reads.

The Schlage 80-102 626 IC Small Format Mortise Lock with Camelot Trim offers a solid live action 90 degree opening action. This is achieved with the use of the cam and guides, which are positioned in tandem to lift the locking mechanism to open the latchbolt. The lock also includes a 1 3/8 inch backset with matching latch (1 3/8 inch face to face) for wood door applications.

Compact mortise/strike plates are standard security features in new construction and on existing homes. The 80 series is for one-3/8" x 2-1/2" in. cylinder and the 102 series is for two-3/8" x 2 1/2 in cylinders. The 626 IC is designed for use with standard deadlatch locks that have 1/4 in. square rotating cam hardware.

Schlage's 80-102 IC mortise locks are designed to fit standard 2-3/8" x 5-1/8" residential doors. Ideal for entry level security, this model is a direct bolt-on with no adapter or modifications needed.

The Schlage SecureKey(TM) format cylinders are designed to fit standard mortise locks - both right and left hand. Once the cylinder is fully inserted, SecureKey(TM) cannot be removed without being rotated 180° first! The cam compression lock provides protection against picking, bumping, pinching and U-out.

A cam locking system with a 1/4-inch black riemannian shackle that has a re-pinned factory default cylinder on both sides of the lock, allowing it to be used on commercial and residential applications. It features a brass body and base which gives the device resistance to corrosion over time.
