The Baldwin Hardware 8000.112.STR security strike for standard deadbolts provides the ultimate in security when this high-strength steel accessory is installed on the outside of a door jamb. The striking bolt protrudes through the door, effectively preventing an intruder from gaining entry by picking the lock or kicking the door in. This hardware is designed for installation on hollow metal doors with 1-3/8" to 2-1/4" (35mm to 57mm) thick jamb depth and an overall bore diameter of 5/16" (8mm).
