Baldwin's Traditional 8231 033 Cylinder Lock offers you full adjustability and versatility in your choice of latchbolt design, faceplate detailing and finish. Manufactured from our high-grade solid brass, it's available in a variety of designs. Depending on the model of lock, the deadbolt can be positioned on either the lock or outside faceplate.

The 8231033 Traditional Single Cylinder Deadbolt featuring Vintage Brass finish from Baldwin is an excellent addition to any home along with the rest of the matching products available. This product has a deadbolt hole diameter of 1-3/8" and is designed for use on wood doors. Its door thickness should be from 1-3/4" and up to 2" thick. It comes equipped with a back set latch type, contrary to the face bore type. The finish on this product is a die cast zinc alloy which helps prevent corrosion since it resists moisture and stains better than most other finishes available today. The

A classic look with superior strength and security Baldwin's 8231 Traditional Deadbolt features twisted narrow stile or slab-milled steel, visible pins, 2 1/4" backset, 5-grade 3" diameter rekeyable barrel and bottom pin.

This is a Baldwin antique brass deadbolt. It is an 8231033 with a 3" backset. The 8231033 is a single cylinder deadbolt with a 6-pin cylinder and dust cover. It is meant for wood doors and has a 2-1/8" long case or tailpiece and the faceplate measures 4" x 4-1/4".

While its unique vintage design sets it apart from other locks, the Baldwin #8231 Traditional deadbolt also provides added security. All of the product lines in this collection are crafted with a solid brass strike plate which provides additional resistance against drilling.

The Baldwin 8231033 single cylinder deadbolt features a curved edge and finial at the top. The latch guard is rounded and has a shorter throw. The Baldwin Deadbolts are available in both ANSI A2 and A1 configurations, in four varying degrees of 'hardness' of steel. All Baldwin Deadbolts proceed through a final heat treatment process to harden the bolt and increase the strength of the lock.
