Baldwin's 8231 260 deadbolt single cylinder is designed for exterior application and is used with Baldwin 923, 921, 823 series rim cylinders. The lock features a Grade 2 satin nickel finish for a traditional look. To prevent unauthorized duplication of keys, the lock utilizes a thumb-turn with three locking grooves for increased security and strength. The cylinder measures 1-7/8 inch wide by 2-1/8 inches high and requires a 1-1/2 inch backset. .
