Featuring an exceptional ease of use, this has the ability to easily install without the need for additional hardware. Taking advantage of the continuous rotating collar, all you have to do is flip the key 180 degrees to select your locking or non-locking option. Baldwin's backset is 2-1/8 inch. The 8244 Contemporary style deadbolt can be lockable from the outside with a key in both ends. Baldwin's deadbolts are carriage bolt construction, including the round shoulders. Prep for this lock was made for 2-1/8 inch door prep. Pair this up with a Baldwin lever that matches it and you've got yourself a sleek set.
This Baldwin deadbolt lock is designed with a contemporary style Satin Nickel finish. This Single Cylinder dead bolt is for 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick wood doors and has 1-1/2" backset. It operates via key outside cylinder on the right-hand or left hand and requires a 2-1/8" diameter hole for installation. The backset is adjustable from 2-1/16" to 2-3/16".
