8297 031 CYL COLLAR SPACER

A spacer is more commonly used to repair or replace a broken deadbolt or door strike plate. Many locksmiths use spacers for their double-sided key cylinders to help increase alignment with the plug. The CYL COLLAR SPACER is only 1-3/8" long and is 5/8" diameter. This spacer works on Baldwin Hardware 8297 deadbolts and strike plates for CYL Cylinder Lock Sets.

Doors equipped with the 8297 series of lock cylinders will accept this .047" spacer. The collar and spacer together provide a 5/8" throw for the bolt to strike the deadlatch.
