831012 Compressor Retrofit Kit is designed to be used on Rheem/Ruud units built between 1965 and current that are equipped with Johnson Controls 3LA943-C Compressor and have already been converted to 134A refrigerant. This kit is warranted for five (5) years from the date of installation to the original owner of the product. With a variety of additional model conversions and replacements available for purchase, Ruud's line of air conditioner parts provide you with all the tools needed to complete any kind of HVAC repair.

This kit is designed to retrofit an existing Rheem brand 17 Series (round) compressor and replace it with a Ruud brand compressor to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. The Compressor Retrofit Kit includes a new shaft, new pressure switch, new safety valves, new internal wiring harnesses, a new balance of the air-cooled condensing unit, and installation instructions.
