The Thermostat Kit is designed for use with A.O. Smith gas and electric water heaters and the BAC venting systems. This kit includes storage box, thermostat, starter, thermocouple coil assembly and field shunt. The KIT THERMOSTAT NAT features a thermostat designed for use with electric or gas water heaters and includes a thermocouple mineral insulation hose, gauge cable assembly, exterior cover, installation hardware, storage box and operating instructions.

This thermostat can be operated by any single pole control device such as a wall switch or automatic room thermostat. Some hvac dealers prefer this thermostat for their guaranteed results and ease of installation over other comparable models. Be sure to consult a certified heating contractor before replacing any model heaters with radiant flooring.

The complete package provides the green-minded homeowner with a high-efficiency whole house fan and condensing unit thermostat. After installation, the kit will automatically turn off the house fan when cooling is not needed and will let you know it's saving you money!

The A.O. Smith 192875 2 Wire 22-3008 Thermostat is a kit which includes a replacement thermostat and an attached wire, but does not include a new heating element or body gasket needed to install the new thermostat. Please order the proper body gasket separately, as well as a new heating element if your original one is defective.
