The E2 E3 Blower Door provides a quick and efficient means of testing air infiltration and pressure differences within buildings and homes. The unit can be used for pre-inspection, construction verification, or post-occupancy evaluation.
The Nordyne 917260 and 277743 E2 E3 Blower Door Set are Blower Doors to use during insulation evaluations. This US Department of Energy (DOE) approved series will help ensure that projects are taking insulation to the next level.
The Nordyne 277743 917260 E2 E3 Blower Door is designed to provide draft-testing of large components, such as the walls of a home or a portion of a roof. This door is compatible with nearly all fan systems.
The E2 and E3 Blower Door is powerful and durable. It is able to withstand up to 150 mph winds and can be connected to ductwork. The exterior shell and motor are constructed with steel, while the look casing is made of a durable composite material. The E2 and E3 Blower Door also has louvers that will protect the unit from outside debris.
The Nordyne E2-E3 Blower Door provides a within-attic crawl space airtightness test down to 1.0 air change per hour. It is ideal for both residential and commercial buildings. This fan-driven product easily mounts into most attic access hatch openings to provide an access opening so the blower door can be installed on the exterior of the home or commercial building and test the integrity of the building's insulation, header, vapor barrier and ventilation.
The Blower Door is used to measure the air leakage rate of existing buildings. Properly functioning houses with tight insulation are designed to be air-tight house shells allowing very little air to penetrate through the walls and doors. Now you can test the air tightness of your home or to half an hour by using the Nordyne E2E3 Blower Door.
