The Kwikset 971UIDL is a one of a kind lock that can be used on most doors. It has a chrome finish and runs smoothly with the use of an inside cylinder. The finish also protects it from any weather exposure.

The 971 Series Mortise Deadbolt works in conjunction with the 971 series mechanical locks to provide a strong and durable lockset. The mortise bolt slides horizontally into a notch in the doorjamb and the 971 Series Cheyenne Cam holds the bolt in place. The bolt only travels 1 3/4" into the door. This trims off deep holes that are common with other manufacturers' products. The 971 features matching satin nickel finish for an elegant appearance that is dependable and secure. Its innovative design offers greater security than traditional surface bolts. They are easier to install and offer protection against drilling
