FLAME ROD (Y75AA-3)

The REZNOR 98697 FLAME ROD (Y75AA-3) is designed for use with gas logs only. It includes a 3/8" threaded tip for attaching to the REZNOR log burner.

The FLAME ROD is used on the bottom of the flare tip to initiate the flow of gas in the tubing.

Our Flame Rod is a specialty heating element for use with our REZNOR 98697 application. Flame rods fit directly into the base or the lid of the REZNOR 98697 and provide a more direct heating source to the area being heated. Flame rods are designed to be used to preheat a coffee cup or mantle an IV bag by inserting it at the bottom of the cup or bag respectively.

Our new FlameRod is the latest and greatest in our lineup of rods for camping, as well as fishing or hunting. This rod holds up to a 75-watt light bulb that will last for a full 12 hours. It comes with a built-in single lighting jack, so it is ready to go right out of the box. The FlameRod has an aluminum pole with an anodized finish that helps protect against corrosion.

The Flame Rod from Reznor adds ambiance and flair to your barbeque grill. This two-part assembly screws directly into the spark arrester on the weber spirit, spirit II and genesis series (2007 or newer) gas grills and includes a flow damper for additional control over the flame. It is designed to burn propane gas, liquid propane (LP), or natural gas. The Flame Rod runs between 500 and 1700 watts making it suitable for most domestic central heating boilers.
