Hose Barb plugs are one of the most versatile, flexible and dependable connections available to the automotive aftermarket. These A-style Hose barbs have a 1/4" barb size and feature an integral O-ring to insure sealing and prevent leaks. Hose Barb Plugs MIL777-6 are for use with Milton Industries' (MIL) 3/8 x 14 NPT hose fittings and electronic accessories such as the MIL0002-0 Universal Vacuum Tester.

3/8" Hose Barb Plug Made of Filled Rubber, NBR (Not Recommended for Service above 400 psi). These series A plugs are used on hoses that are rated at 200-300 psi. They may also be used on high pressure hoses by installing a nut to the barb and locking it with a cotter pin or wire. Note: Hose Barb Plugs do not have wire stem to use a crimping tool.

The A-style hose barb is used to make your own swivel fittings. You can either tap the hole or use a new bolt and nut to screw directly in. These are anodized aluminum plugs and will harden most sealants including CPES.

A style barbed plug can be used to attach a hose to a central vacuum pick-up. The barb or taper on the plug keeps the hose firmly attached.
