Keep track of the temperature in multiple locations with this single pole, three way Remote Bulb Temperature Control. Simply connect the control to a standard light switch via the included hardwired cable, and attach up to three resistance temperature devices, or RTDs. The cable carries power to the control box, while the attached ON/OFF switch powers bulbs controlled by lighting dimmers. Sold separately.

Remote bulb temperature control (RBT) devices do not measure temperature like conventional RTDs, but only control the color and intensity of an existing lamp up to 600 watts which is available in the local lighting circuit. The switching module controls the voltage applied to the light bulb and converts standard household voltage (110/125VAC single phase) to 12VDC. The RBT may be used for Local voltage sensing in electric motor starting applications, dimming of fluorescent lights, exhaust gas temperature measurements etc.

The BULB TEMP. control module is designed for use with 4-wire type 120/277 vac fluorescent lamp ballast (type T8). The module should not be used on fixtures wired for 1-phase. The module is suitable for use with constant power or instant start ballasts.
