It is intended to be used with a wide range of incandescent and CFL bulbs in commercial, industrial and residential applications where remote on/off switching is required. The unit has two integrally connected relays for on / off switching of light loads with 0-5VDC or 120-277 VAC contacts from either end of the unit.

This SPDT remote bulb temperature control allows the user to turn on and off a lamp load remotely. The low voltage power source is connected through terminals N, L1, and L2 to the load. The terminal marked "C" provides a constant voltage between terminals N & L2. Terminals N & L1 are connected through an inductor or other circuit that creates a time delay when the control is turned on. This delay prevents arcing across terminals N & L1 when the lamp is turned off with the control switch.
