120V SPST PLUG IN PORTABLE HEATER T
This thermostat is intended for use with 120V portable heaters. It has a single pole, single throw (SPST) snap action switch that turns the heater on when it senses the room temperature below 65°F and off when it senses the room temperature above 65°F. It uses an electromechanical bi-metal switch to control a heating element that heats a bimetal strip. The mounting base is 2 ½” square x ¾” high and has two #6-32 tapped holes on one edge.

The Johnson Controls 6721 A19 thermostat should be used with electrical portable heaters that are equipped with a 120 V power cord, or a 120 V outlet plug. This thermostat is not suitable for use with direct-wired 120V heaters (i.e., immersion heaters and radiant heaters).
