The coiled sensor design allows for use in space heater applications, which require maximum heat at the point of use. The 6072 Series line voltage mechanical thermostat is designed for use with 120/240 VAC two-wire electrical systems. The space thermostat can be field adjusted to accept a wide variety of bulb types and configurations.

The 6072 Line Voltage Mechanical Thermostat is the standard for Johnson Controls’ “high-end” line of thermostats. It is designed to work with forced hot air central heating systems and gas or oil-fired boilers. The 6072 can be used with either a 120V or 208/240V system without changing any settings, but it must operate on a 480V coil voltage minimum.
