Honeywell Tester 7800 Series Modules with Valve Proving System, includes a Honeywell L7148A2 Proving Valve, H1393 and H1254 Pressure Transducer Pads.

The system is composed of a manifold, mounting hardware, a valve proving system and TESTER 7800 series modules. The TESTER 7800 series modules are intrinsically safe for dry type applications and provide basic functionality equivalent to that of the TESTER 7500 series modules. The system is designed to provide pressure testing capability on HVAC advanced control valves during commissioning at the factory, field retrofit or distributor installation.

The TESTER 7800 series valve proving system is designed for use in electrical and mechanical testing of solid state valves used to control many different types of machinery. It includes a direct interface with TESTERlink™ (Test & Measurement Tool Software) that can be used to create test programs and capture test results directly into standard file formats such as MS-Excel

The Honeywell 7800 Series Proving Valves and Modules are designed for use with the Tester 7800 Series. The valves and modules are used to provide a proving or shunt circuit for heat tracing, sprinkler, irrigation and chemical applications. The proving valve or module takes the place of the original valve in the application, allowing it to be tested without affecting the rest of the control system. The valves and modules snap into place on base plates in a tile pattern grid, simplify installation and provide easy service later when routine maintenance is required.

The 7800 series module-proving system is a self-contained test module consisting of a valve actuated by the primary of a transformer. The entire unit may be accommodated in an NEMA 4X enclosure, or larger, and the power supply may be mounted remotely. The valve may be opened to atmosphere or a vacuum may be applied to it. In either case a pressure switch monitors the actuation of the valve.

Honeywell's 7800 Proving System is a compact, unique modular valve proving device. It is designed for quick and easy installation and removal. This system provides true simplicity of operation with the 7800 Valve proving module. The 5/8 in. valve swaging tool simplifies valve installation by permitting tight-tolerance wire-wound valves to be permanently closed using standard, low cost hose crimps rather than costly tools.
