The Johnson Controls A99BB-25C A99BB-25C PTC Silicon Sensor Range -40deg. 9- is a part of the family of Circuit Overload Relay. It can be utilized in Commercial building, America , Schools and many more.

The A99BB-25C is a PTC silicon sensor, that is compatible with T series thermostats. These are dual voltage sensors which can operate off of 9-32 volts. These sensors have an operating range of -40 degrees to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and 0.0 ohms resistance at 25 degrees Fahrenheit. This is available for checkout from our Central warehouse location.

This PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heating element produces more heat than a conventional low watt density PTC's. These heating elements are used in temperatures below -40Deg. 9, where other PTC heating elements would be ineffective. The A99BB-25C has a Maximum Current rating of 25 Amps DC; Voltage 250 VDC at a maximum current rating of 25 Amps DC. PTC technology is self regulating, which results in minimal to no overshoot due to short circuit and brownout conditions

PTC electronic and electromechanical temperature sensors due to their shape and size are often referred to as "Bullet-style" temperature sensors or simply bullet sensors. These sensors have an additional overmolded encapsulation that forms a small body around the thermopile radiating element. This emulsion or epoxy encapsulation supports the sensor and provides protection from dust, dirt, oil, explosion, pressure for airspeed applications and chemical resistance for underwater applications.
