The Honeywell AMBD14X8 Adj Manual Balancing Damper attaches to the thermostatic expansion valve to close off return air. The Honeywell 14x8 Millivolt ADJ Manually Adjustable Balanced Damper is the ideal choice for building heat-recovery ventilating systems in attics.

The AMBD 14X 8 is a manual balancing damper that is available for use on gravity venting gas and oil fired units having a single stage gas valve, or multi-stage oil valves. The balance damper allows the installer to control the airflow from the firebox to the flue pipe by adjusting counterbalance weights on a manual lever system. It can be installed with either an inlet at the bottom or top of the unit.

The AMBD 14X8 is a balancing damper that measures 14-inches x 8-inches. This balancing damper closes automatically when the furnace blower shuts off and has an adjustable dampening setting. It fits all 10" x 10" opening. This Honeywell manual balancing damper has a cast iron construction and can be used for gas/oil heat furnaces or hot water furnaces.
