The AM-1 mixing valve allows any 1/2 in. pex supply to be mixed with up to two other 1/2 in. PEX supply lines. The valve is constructed of rugged, 316 stainless steel, and features a brass bonnet and cartridge, 1/2 in. copper tubing connections and built-in check valves that prevent WOB (water on backflow) should either supply tube or the shutoff valves fail or become disconnected.
The AM-1 mixing valve is designed for use with air conditioning and heating systems. The valve is a quarter turn, control knob type actuator with a pilot light. The Actuator Body is constructed of brass as well as the bonnet to withstand harsh environments. The mixing tube in the quill tube assembly is made from steel to resist corrosion, thus ensuring reliable operation over an extended service life.
The Honeywell AM-1 mixing valve includes an electronic sequencer, designed to add humidity to the air. The Union Pex 70-145° F Outdoor Mixing Valve with 1/2 in. male thread at both ends has a compact design and installs easily.
The AquaMix AM-1 mixing valve is ideal for residential applications or anywhere water-based emulsions such as grease, oil, adhesives, paints and many others require mixing and proportioning. The microprocessor controls monitor flow rate to deliver consistent amounts at a set time. The fully mechanical precharge control measures the demand charge and automatically adjusts for changes in flow rate on startup or during operation.
The 1/2 inch AM-1 Union Mixing Valve with Base Kit is a mechanical heat control for a hydronic heating system. It controls the average temperature of the water in the system between two set points from 70 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Its housing and flow element are made of copper alloy and the 24 volt solenoid coil is brass plated steel. Add this 80 percent efficient heating control to your hydronic plumbing system for more precise temperatures.
The AM-1 mixer valve combines accurate proportional control and a compact design. Each valve has a built-in thermostat and is designed for simple installation without additional accessories between the tank and the mixer. This temperature limiting mixing valve is available in a range of models, providing easy installation and simple, proportional operation. It features a fully assembled solenoid with integral purge orifice to protect against water hammer when the valve is energized. The epoxy coated valve body is suited for use where maximum corrosion resistance is needed. With an extended temperature range of 140°F (60°C) – 175°F (80
The AM Series mixing valves are designed to mix hot water or steam with cold water in a gravity-fed system. They are intended for use in applications where the water supply conditions require mixing valves with the following features:
