The AQUAMIX 1070 LEAD FREE is a combination control valve with an integral diaphragm pilot operated solenoid for mixing HVAC makeup air and heating coils during the heating cycle. It is designed over many years of field experience at Honeywell, specifically to solve problems associated with Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) regulation compliance. The AQUAMIX 1070 LEAD FREE's fully integrated pilot/solenoid assembly provides simple compact installation, that can also be modified as easily as replacing a standard pilot jet. The Honeywell Aquamix® 1070 lead free mixing valve is a total system designed specifically for the HVAC installer who wants to use the hot water line for both sanitizing and heating. The unit is plumbed in-line and is designed to be installed between an incoming cold feed and a conventional mixing valve or between the incoming cold feed and dedicated hot water coil. The mixing valve features an integrated air vent that maintains air flow pressure to prevent backpressure. The integrated 7/16 in. threaded vacuum breaker with integral vacuum gauge provides positive venting required by code to install gravity feed domestic hot water systems.

The AQUAMIX 1070 is a lead-free valve that mixes hot and cold water to produce warm water. The mixing valve provides convenient access to hot and cold water at the faucet connection, while including a diverter to switch between the two options.

The Aquamix 1070 valve is designed to add a water softener to any standard domestic cold water supply.
