The AQUAMIX 1070 mixing valve is an excellent choice as a domestic mixing valve for water, hot water, and steam applications. It is lead-free compliant. It has a modular construction with grounding strap, and a bakelite handle. Its body and end cap are cast in one piece of brass with stainless steel wear plate inside to prevent erosion. Its stem and diaphragm are made of stainless steel to prevent wearing out internally. The packing nut is made of nylon resin to prevent leaking or deformation. The thread is durable and guaranteed not to leak, or it can be changed free of charge.
