If the product to be used in the system is not in contact with drinking water then this valve does not need to be lead free certified. This patented design provides years of trouble free operation at high flow rates. With a brass body and cover, stainless steel vitreous fiber seats, double disk stainless steel closure washers all sealed in a clear chrome plate finish, this valve looks great too. HONEYWELL'S AMX IS A LEAD FREE MIXING VALVE EQUIPPED WITH AN INDUSTRIAL GRADE 1-INCH SLEEVE. IT CAN BE USED WITH ANY HEAT TRANSFER FITTING THAT HAS A 1-INCH INLET AND OUTLET.

The AMX Lead Free mixing valve has a threaded intake that can be used to connect to either a 3/4-inch or 1-inch discharge. The valve is constructed from brass and incorporates a mixing chamber with three passages: two to the main discharge, bypassing the zone valves; and one to the pressure relief valve. It also includes a brass bonnet expansion disc with bleed screw on top.
