RHEEM 182318 Ruud AS-100561-01 Heat Exchanger Assembly

The 182318 heat exchanger assembly is for use with Ruud models equivalent to the AS-100561-01. This heat exchanger is compatible with RHEEM vertical gas furnace models RCHG90V40A, RCHG132V40A, and RCHG90V50A.

Rheem® heat exchanger assembly includes all the components necessary to replace a heat exchanger. The 36'' long assembly is designed for use with Rheem 31-Series furnaces, and comes partially assembled. Heat exchangers are subject to thermal shock when coolant and condensate lines are connected during installation. A thermal shock kit (sold separately) must be used in order to complete the assembly process.

The heat exchanger assembly includes a collector with a heat transfer plate at the bottom. Air enters from the right side of the collector and passes over the heat transfer plates. The air warms, flows upward, and is discharged on the left side of the collector. This unit is tested for 3 HP at 208/230-208 volt operation .

The Ruud Heat Exchanger frame is equivalent to the Rheem product line heat exchangers. If you are looking to replace or install your heat exchanger, this brand can surely get it done.
