ASCO 8215B60 Power Technologies 1-1/4" x 1-5/8" Solenoid Gas Valve, Normally Closed. Expanded description: Normally closed gas shutoff valve provides for complete shut off of gas flow to equipment, preventing possible re-ignition. Pressure of 10 PSI or more must exist to open the valve. The valve is non-adjustable and works with propane, natural or liquefied petroleum gases.

The ASCO 8215B60 Power Technologies 1-1/4" x 1-5/8" Solenoid Gas Valve, Normally Closed contains a spring loaded valve with a single energized ¼” stem to shut off gas flow. The normally closed gas control is ideal for applications such as space heaters, and boilers.

The ASCO 8215B60 Solenoid Valve is a Normally Closed (NC) valve, which means that it remains in the closed position until energized. The gas line from the regulator enters through a 2-1/2"" NPT male inlet on the valve body and is secured with a brass lock nut. The 120VAC power for the solenoid coil comes from a connector block mounted to the top of the valve body. On/off switch is furnished.
