The B81 series is a single cylinder deadbolt that comes in three finishes, Antique Brass, Satin Nickel, and Bright Chrome. This deadbolt case set comes standard with the new 12287 latch Retro-Fit Strike plate mechanism. The B81 single sided deadbolt allows the exterior thumbturn to be used on either side of the door for added convenience. The B81 is suitabled for use on wood or metal doors.
Schlage B81 Series deadbolts are ideal for new or replacement installations on wood and hollow metal doors. These locks feature a single sided deadbolt, thumbturn operable from the outside, and a strike that is secured using screws to the door frame or jamb. The Schlage B81 One Sided Deadbolt comes with matching lever handle (B81601) and satin nickel faceplate (3475).
