Smart home-control technology allows the FLAME SENSOR to be used in conjunction with other BURNHAM accessories and future products. The FLAME SENSOR is compatible with all BURNHAM Natural Gas Grills.

Whether you're entertaining friends and family or just like to spend your evenings hanging out around the fire pit, the FLAME SENSOR has you covered. This convenient accessory, powered by a 9-V battery, allows you to remotely control the chimney and damper to produce a flame effect using the handheld transmitter and receiver. Just recharge the FLAME SENSOR's 9-V battery with the included battery charger, set it in place, and turn on your gas line.

The FLAME SENSOR will detect a flame and automatically open the switch (in the event of a fire). The FLAME SENSOR mounts in line with either a liquid propane (LP) or natural gas (NG) source. It has a manual reset button. The FLAME SENSOR comes complete with an electric wire and plug for connecting to your LP or NG source, 2 connectors for a gauge regulator, required fittings for installation, and instructions. Installation is simple and quick.

The Flame Sensor adds convenience to any type of hot surface grilling application. Simply attach the sensor to the side of the cooking cavity with the provided mounting adapter assembly and your grill will be fitted with a built-in audible alarm. The built-in motion switch is suitable for all infrared hot surface grills, including flat-top grills, ovens, griddles or fryers. A two year manufacturer's warranty comes standard included with this product along with quick and easy installation instructions.

The Burnham Flame Sensor is a 64mm x 36mm housing with 5.5 meter cable and 24V coil that can be used to sense visible flames in flue pipes and chimneys. It is designed for use with the Burnham BS5000 Series of Combustion Control Systems. The sensor is mounted in the flue pipe immediately before the chimney. A flame, when present, will heat the thermistor element inside the Flame Sensor, causing a change in resistance. This resistance change will be measured by the BS5000 Series Controller.
