CRANKCASE HEATER 115VOLT

The Carrier Crankcase Heater is the ideal solution to prevent an engine from freezing up during cold winter months. This device provides heat to a vehicle's transmission oil via an attached hanger. The heating element in this crankcase heater consists of alloy bushings. Additionally, it comes with a pilot light that will alert mechanics when the heating element needs to be replaced.

The Carrier® crankcase heater is designed for the industrial user who wants the most advanced design. This hardworking heater is easy to install and virtually maintenance free. Features include a heavy duty brazed high temperature, corrosion resistant nickel-plated copper tube; a durable stainless steel housing and heat exchanger.

The Carrier 43918 and 294695 Crankcase Heaters are designed to be installed in an engine room, auxiliary boiler room, genset, or some other location requiring operating temperatures above the ambient air temperature. The heater is thermostatically controlled so that a full load can be maintained at all times. The Carrier 294695 Crankcase Heater is designed to heat 300 cubic feet of space by 4800 Btu's per hour.

The Carrier crankcase heater replaces a 3,000 watt electric furnace. Used within a group of equipment such as chillers, air-conditioning units, etc., this heater will help eliminate the need to idle the engine and waste fuel.

The Carrier Crankcase Heater is designed to be used in a wide range of automotive oil temperatures. The heater contains a thermowrap heater and heavy duty bimetal dial thermostat to maintain the oil at a desired temperature.
