The Carrier 3020450 Relief Valve, 1/2 NPT X 5/8 SAE 450

An economical, full service, pre-assembled relief valve designed to handle temperatures up to 450°F and pressures up to 40 PSIG. The RCRV1/2NPTx5/8SAE is certificated to NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for surface and near-surface applications of liquid hydrocarbon fuels. It can withstand hydrocarbon fluids and non-aggressive processes such as sour water, condensate, waste heat, flare gas and sweet gas. The Relief Valve RV1/2NPTx5/8SAE has a flow capability of up to 2.0 GPM

The Carrier 3020450 1/2" NPT x 5/8"ID Relief Valve is used in the gas side primary pressure regulator. It is designed to relieve high line pressure.  Carrier's valve bodies are made of high quality brass for durability and consistent product performance.

Carrier's 1/2" NPT relief valve and 1/4" MNPT check valves, retrofitted with a special relief component, are designed to protect the system from excess back pressure. The fresh water drain check valve is used in combination with the companion relief valve to control the operation of the fresh water pump. In certain applications both systems may be connected together with a common discharge line.
