A new innovation from Carrier! The Strap Dual Capacitor is a condenser fan motor with two capacitors that work together for efficient energy usage. With an outside-the-capacitor belt, the Strap machine saves on installation costs due to its higher efficiency at lower loads and quieter operation.

This easy-to-install Strap Capacitor from Carrier can help reduce your energy costs by over 30% annually. It connects directly to an outdoor wall mounted air handler's existing capacitor. The unit is a control feature which transports heat and reduces temperature fluctuations that could otherwise occur when the weather changes rapidly. This two strap design helps ensure optimal performance throughout all seasons.

The Carrier 317739-302 is a new 200-amp dual capacitor that comes with a strap for quick installation, has an attractive design, and features improved heat and capacitance tolerance to perform over the lifespan of the product. Dual Capacitor also features dual elements that will better serve your residential HVAC needs by providing emergency heat during power outages and also quieter operation during normal use.
