The Carrier Filter ADAPTER/STRAINER ASSEMBLY was designed specifically for use with the Carrier 3M9077, 38CF000A, 38CH00AF, 38CH00AM, 38DE00AH, 38P1014 Air Cleaner and Filters. Also fits Trion P129AA-38-12, P129AA-38-3 and P129AA-38B Air Cleaners (Does not fit Merv 10 or Merv 13 filters.)

10" Pull-Out Metal Strainer and 4" Basket Strainer Assembly With Locking Knob.

This is a 8" X 12" filter with a 15/16" female NPT (national pipe thread) on both ends. It can be used anywhere on the hot water system where it is necessary to change flow direction or where an extra filter is required. This filter assembly has a shut off valve, allowing the water to pass through, but not back through it.
