The Inducer Housing Kit has been engineered to reduce the noise level and improve the efficiency of your Carrier heating and cooling equipment. All Carrier heaters, furnaces and air conditioners have an inducer motor that draws in outside air for combustion. The sound level of the inducer motor can be reduced by installing an Inducer Housing Kit. The basic kit consists of a rotor, stator, faussade cap, thrust washer, spring washer, lock nut assembly and adhesive foam gasket. This kit may not be compatible with all units and is intended as a replacement for parts on existing equipment.
