The Carrier gas valve kit is continuous pilot (COP), 1/2" gas supply with 175,000 BTU input. It is 24 volts, and includes two safety devices, an overpressure relief valve and low pressure cut-off. This valve allows for great control while fire is burning so the flame can be left on low when temperature starts to drop off with the weather change before restarting again manually. The 24 volt supply kit requires 24VAC voltage supply.
