Our Carrier 51771U "Ignitor is a 21,300 BTU natural gas furnace for the 4TJ3 mini-split indoor air handler that is commonly used in dormitories. This kit is a field-erectable unit designed to convert the existing ducting and/or other components from the previous heating system to this system. This kit will work with just about any existing HVAC configuration.

The Ignitor is an entry level furnace from Carrier that can be installed in a day with no additional leak sealing or insulation required. It includes technology like the Infinity Monitoring System, which detects malfunctions and self-diagnoses problems, and an Auto Comfort Control System, which senses heat loss at its source and modulates the blower and gas valve to maintain constant temperature. A programmable thermostat also comes standard to allow for better energy management, including features like right boost and blocked flue detection.

The Carrier 51771U Ignitor 80,000 BTU gas furnace with AFUE efficiency rating of 83.9% is single stage, four pipe heating system that uses an environmentally-friendly, two-stage variable speed inducer motor to maximize energy efficiency. The Ignitor™ heat exchanger provides fast recovery and comfort in single family homes and larger multi-level buildings.
