The TXV+ valve also increases the amount of refrigerant in use, providing greater cooling in warmer months and heating in colder months.

The Carrier TXV is a self-contained dual-stage thermostatically controlled valve that combines a patented evaporator core, two gas valves, and a control circuit in a sterile packaging for easy installation. Placement of the Valve inside the unit eliminates field welding and reduces installation cost. Solves the problem of rapid heating and cooling of indoor air by combining refrigerant piping into one multiple refrigerant circuit. Reduces energy consumption by lowering the temperature differential between the return and supply air.

Carrier's TXV (thermoelectric refrigeration) uses a valve and compressor like traditional refrigeration systems, but with a fixed-speed fan to achieve higher efficiency and better system sound. The fixed-speed fan also provides increased component life.

The Carrier EA36UZ030 valve is a TXV CO 2 condenser valve. It has a nominal capacity of 35,000 BtuH and a charge pressure of 15 psig. This valve is a contractor pack product that comes with a 10' ANSI branch circuit copper wire.
