Carrier 38CKC036 Series is a three-speed, constant-volume, single-stage 4-wire heat pump reversing valve designed to meet the needs of residential and commercial comfort systems. Carrier was the first manufacturer to introduce a reversing valve in 1957. The valve has been known by the brand name CARRIER® VALVE TXV® ever since.

This Carrier "Valve" self-contained gas furnace features a modulating TXV (thermostatic expansion valve) that precisely maintains proper water temperatures, giving your system greater efficiency, reliability, and long-term durability.

The Carrier® Thermostat Controllers are available for most major heat pump models. The Valve Control board is a direct replacement for the TXV board and provides the same function of control, comfort and energy savings.
