The Carrier EA36YD095 R-10A A-Coil TXV Valve is a thermal expansion valve for system-supplied refrigerant. The R-10A Series is compatible with refrigerants including: HFC-134a, R-410A, and blends of HFCs mixed with HCFC-22. The EA36YD095 features three set screws on the back of the valve and is equipped with a yellow handle cap.

This Carrier R-10A replacement TXV (Thermostatic Expansion Valve) is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) upgraded replacement, meant for use with Carrier brand air conditioners. This unit will replace the 2516000 / 2516049 units in Carrier air conditioners produced between 1998 and 2003. It comes with pre-calibrated pressures to make installation quick and easy - simply install in place of your existing valve, then connect refrigerant tubing on either side.
