Expansion valve 2" (51 mm) for limited water and vapor distribution. This special device allows you to control the distribution of liquids and ensures superior indoor comfort. Higher distribution yield compared to conventional master flow unit with low consumption of hot water. Positioning on different parts of the building (hot water collectors, etc.), depending on the direction of gas flow can positively affect the building's energy consumption by up to 30% . The Carrier EA36YP020 Expansion Valve is designed for use with the CIM-98HV- 4.5-15 psi manufactured before 1/1/07, and the CIM-A5V -4.5-30 psi manufactured before 4/1/13.

Operates at a lower pressure drop than standard valves. Designed for use in hydronic indirect-fired forced air furnaces and fan-forced wall furnaces which require expansion valve controls on the suction side of the system.
