SERVICE VALVE CORE, 1/4" FNPT, 304 STAINLESS STEEL

Service Valve cores are replacements or back-up parts for Carrier gas furnaces, hot air furnaces and central air conditioners.

This service valve core fits Carrier furnaces. IMPORTANT NOTE: This Service Valve Core will only work with the model of furnace listed in the description above. If you do not have this model, you will need to purchase the correct Service Valve Core for your specific furnace model.

You may need a service valve core if you do not currently have one. The service valve enables you to drain the refrigerant from your air conditioner and defrost coil. This is commonly used during an A/C system repair and installation process. Also sometimes called a "valve-out/valve-in" operation, this is when your original part may be repaired or replaced and then the internal components are drained of refrigerant gas.

A service valve core goes on the end of a propane tank's gas delivery hose. It has a hexagonal shape and helps ensure safe operation of a propane barbeque or patio heater.

The Carrier EC660001 service valve core is designed to protect the furnace. This Carrier part can be used as a replacement or when installing a new hard-wired heating system.

Our Carrier service valve core is made from brass material and is used for a series of condensing unit. The product has a 2-5/8 inch diameter and one-inch height. It is sold one each.
