The Carrier HC39AZ231 MOTOR is a unique gas furnace that comes with four-way air delivery, giving you maximum comfort and control over your home's heat and cooling. Inside this appliance, a Cold Climate Package Platinum gas furnace, powerful movement of warm air through the home is created by multiple stages of heating. The Carrier HC39AZ231 MOTOR also uses Inverter technology to maintain consistent airflow for added comfort and efficiency.

The Carrier HC39AZ231/MOTOR Heat Pump is packed with energy-saving features. It can be air-source (condenser coil located outside) or ground-source (condenser coil located in the basement). It fits into a 15' x 5' x 6' space and has a SEER rating of 18.0.

Remove the ventilating panel.  Insert the large end of the two wires on a 3-speed universal motor through 2 slots of this lowered portion. Drop the small ends of the wire into their respective holes in the bottom plate and place the bottom plate into position by aligning it with alignment mark M and pushing it up to lock into place with snap-action catch "A". Connect one wire to terminal No. 1, close contact "B", and connect the second wire to terminal No. 2, close contact "C". Turn knob "F" to left, then wait 15 seconds for motor to start automatically .

The Carrier HC39AZ231 is a wall mount gas furnace with an Energlo R logo, an automatic temperature setback, a manual reset safety shutoff switch, a water-to-air heat exchanger, a firebox and a glass touch screen control panel.
